Clinical Audiologist (m/f), Thanjavur in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu

Your tasks:
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to assess and rehabilitate recipients of implanted hearing devices through auditory training and counseling
- Fit, dispense, and repair assistive devices, such as hearing aids
- Maintain patient records at all stages, including initial and subsequent evaluation and treatment activities
- Examine and clean patients' ear canals
- Evaluate hearing and balance disorders to determine diagnoses and courses of treatment
- Program and monitor cochlear implants to fit the needs of patients
- Educate and supervise audiology students and health care personnel
Your skills:
- Expertise in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
- Monitoring/assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action
- Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
- Proficiency in plant and animal organisms, theirtissues, cells, functions, interdependencies, and interactions with each other and the environment
- Using scientific rules and methods to solve problems
- Proficiency in human behavior and performance
- Talking to others to convey information effectively
- Teaching others how to do something
- Proficiency in machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Expertise in principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
