Medical Technologist (m/f), Thanjavur in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu

Your tasks:
- Harvest cell cultures at optimum time, based on knowledge of cell cycle differences and culture conditions
- Provide technical information about test results to physicians, family members, or researchers
- Select and prepare specimens and media for cell cultures, using aseptic technique and knowledge of medium components and cell requirements
- Analyze laboratory findings to check the accuracy of the results
- Supervise, train, or direct lab assistants, medical and clinical laboratory technicians or technologists, or other medical laboratory workers engaged in laboratory testing- Establish or monitor quality assurance programs or activities to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results
- Enter data from analysis of medical tests or clinical results into computer for storage
- Cultivate, isolate, or assist in identifying microbial organisms or perform various tests on thesemicroorganisms
- Analyze samples of biological material for chemical content or reaction
Your skills:
- Writing computer programs for various purposes
- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
- Giving full attention to whatother people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
- Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work
- Identifying measures or indicatorsof system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system
