Health Information Clerk (m/f), Thanjavur in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu

Your tasks:
- Plan, develop, maintain, or operate a variety of health record indexes or storage and retrieval systems to collect, classify, store, or analyze information
- Compile and maintain patients' medical records to document condition and treatment and to provide data for research or cost control and care improvement efforts
- Develop in-service educational materials
- Retrieve patient medical records for physicians, technicians, or other medical personnel
- Manage the department or supervise clerical workers, directing or controlling activities of personnel in the medical records department
Your skills:
- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
- Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job
- Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correctperformance, relative to the goals of the system
- Managing one's own time and the time of others
- Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
- Writing computer programs for various purposes
- Actively looking for ways tohelp people
- Teaching others how to do something
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Monitoring/assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action
